Aside from going to my son's baseball games, I've been mostly "in" this spring. That's partly due to the chilly/rainy weather, but, mostly, it's because I've been hard at work revising the 5th book for my Friends for Keeps series. So, I'm really looking forward to getting "out and about" next week!

Over the river and through Eau Claire to Manz Elementary I went last week, to visit with Mrs. Gallagher's 4th grade class.

Mrs. Gallagher was the big winner in my Bookmarks Giveaway last month. Since her school is so close by, I offered to deliver the bookmarks she requested and the prizes she won in person. I'm glad I did because her students are ( Read more... )

I visited with more than 500 students at 4 Eau Claire, Wisconsin schools last week as part of the 11th annual Chippewa Valley Book Festival. Big waves to all the 3rd-5th graders (& one 6th grader!) at Lakeshore, Sam Davey, Roosevelt, and Montessori schools! Yea!!
